Frequently Asked questions
Do I need to bring my own riding shoes?
Shoe rental is available for $2, but always free for members! If you have your own pair, our bikes are SPD and Delta clip compatible. Ready for your own pair? We stock TIEM shoes in studio for purchase!
What should I Bring/Wear?
We recommend showing up in your regular workout top and a pair of form-fitting pants or shorts. We will provide proper footwear, and you can bring your own towel and water bottle but we also provide them if you forget!
fashionably early
Please arrive 15 minutes before class starts. We all know being fashionably late is so 2008 so please be here and clipped in ready to go when class starts! With that being said, we know life happens. If you are running behind due to traffic or parking, please call or text the studio ahead of class start time!
First-Time Clients: If this is your first ride in our house, you will not be permitted to enter the room once class has started, regardless of timing. Please know this is for yours and our team's safety!
Returning Clients: If it's not your first time in the saddle with us and arrive late, you may enter the class before the conclusion of the first song. After the first song has concluded, you will not be permitted to join the class. A late penalty will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
We love a hype squad
Stick to woos & high fives! All other convos are distracting to your neighbors & your coach. Keep 'em for after class.
Self Care
The bikes are close together to intensify the energy. Please be mindful of your pheromones - both personal & perfume.

WHERE CAN I PARK?
Due to our location, there is no formal parking lot reserved for Steel House Cycle. At all hours of the day, there is plenty of street parking available surrounding the studio (please check out the updated PGH meter hours as of January 2025 to avoid ticketing). Utilize 'Go Mobile PGH' app for easy to complete meter payment.
